原産地：オーストラリア南東部
花期：３～５月
出回り時期：２～５月
用途：鉢植え
特徴：濃桃色の愛らしい花をよく茂った細い枝に下向きにたくさんつけて、初夏の頃まで次々と開いていく。エリカに似ているのでエリカモドキの和名があるが、高さ30㌢ほどの鉢花アイノカンザシの通称で出回ってる。
管理：春と秋は日当たりのよい戸外に置き、夏は雨の当たらない風通しのよい半日陰に移す。乾燥に弱いので、鉢土が乾いたらたっぷり水やりする。冬は室内の明るい窓辺に置き、凍らない程度に保つ。花がらはこまめに摘み取り、花後に切り戻して形を整える。

ナデシコ科/耐寒性秋まき1年層【別名】ムギセンノウ(麦仙翁)、ムギナデシコ
原産地：ヨーロッパ、コーカサス地方、アジア
花期：５～７月
出回り時期：５～６月
用途：庭植え、鉢植え、切り花
特徴：線形の葉をつけた細長い茎は60~90㌢になり、すじ状の斑点が入った桃赤色の５弁花は花びらの先が反り返って、全体が風になびくやさしさい風情がある。属名はラテン語の「畑」と「王冠」からなり、畑に美しく咲くという意味だが、ヨーロッパではコムギ畑の雑草で厄介者扱いされているという。日本では切り花や花壇などに利用されている。
管理：こぼれダネでも植えるほどで大丈夫で、日当たりのよい場所でよく育つ。草丈が高くなり倒れやすいので支柱を立て、咲き終わった花がらはこまめに摘むと長く花を楽しめる。
アキレギア
キンポウゲ科/耐寒性多年層、春まき1年層【別名】オダマキ(苧環)、西洋オダマキ
原産地：ヨーロッパ中部、温帯アジア、北アメリカ
花期：５～６月
出回り時期：１～５月
用途：庭植え、鉢植え、切り花
特徴：オマダキは日本にも自生し古くから親しまれているが、現在、主に出回るのは、ヨーロッパやアメリカのものを改良した花つきのよい園芸種で、草丈はは約90cm。花びらのように見える萼片(がくへん)とその内側の花弁はともに5枚、距の長いものが多い。花弁と萼片が同色のもの、複色のもの、距のない八重咲きなど多くの品種がある。花径6～7cmの巨大輪花をつける’マッカナジャイアント’は切り花用の高性品種。
管理：花が咲き終わるまでは風通しの良い明るい戸外に置き、鉢土が乾いたら水やりする。
